Step 1. Start DVD Ripper for Mac and Load DVD info
You can load DVD info either by hitting Load DVD tab or by hitting Load IFO tab that on the top of the panel. Select the DVD info in the dialog box that opens, and load it. The Loaded DVD’s information, such as chapter, title, etc., will be shown in the file list.
Step 2 Select output format and directory
Select one format you liked in the Profile drop-down list as the output format. You will notice almost all video/audio formats are included there. Select an output path for the converted video, go to Destination and click the pull down list next to it, and then choose a location in the opened window to decide where you would like to store them.
Tips: You can click Open to directly open the converted video files.
Step 3 Video Editing
DVD Ripper Converter for Mac provides multifunctional video effects editing tools, which can not only help you crop the frame and adjust video effects, but also allows you to trim video, add special effects and allow you to merge files into one.
a. Crop frame
Click Crop button on the top of the panel. You will be able to get rid of black sides in the frame or any other parts that you feel unnecessary. Just simple put in numbers in the little box to define the size of area that needs to be cut off.
b. Add effects
Click Effects button to open Effects window. You can set Brightness, Contrast and Saturation here, or add other special effects from the Other Effects drop down list. You can choose classic Black and white (old film), etc.
c. Trim video clip
Sometimes you might need to remove some parts in the chapter or only rip part of video to other format, you can apply Trim to help to get the specific part of your favorite video to convert or transfer to your portable devices. Select the first slider on the left to drag to a location to set the starting time and drag the second slider to a location to set the ending time.
d. merge files into one
We recommend you check merge files into one so that all the chapters can be converted to one file All the edited part, chapter will be combined together.
Step 4. Conversion
Hit conversion to start the procession, the whole DVD movies will be soon converted to video as you preset. You can also get the DVD onto portable devices like iPhone, iPod, Blackberry, or Creative Zen, etc.
